Intel In Education: Re-Imagine platform Content Strategy

CONTEXT/PROBLEM

Intel had over 10,000 pieces of content online related to their initiatives in the field of Education, including web pages, and downloadable documents such as guides, marketing materials and whitepapers. All of Intel's online content was being transitioned to their Re-Imagine online publishing system, a system of page types, components and standards for the presentation and organization of content.  A robust system, Re-imagine nevertheless presented serious challenges in making deep, extensive libraries of content like this highly usable and discoverable.

SOLUTION

A systematic a methodical approach started with a comprehensive inventory of existing content, and identifying any reaching end of life, and transitioned into classification and sorting. That formed the basis of naming systems, which were incorporated into navigation and other methods of wayfinding. Appropriate layouts from the library of components were identified, and page layouts were developed for landing, router and category pages.

RESULTS

Intel's Education content has been fully transitioned to the Re-Imagine Platform, and is live today, with millions of annual page views.
